25 To Remove the Work Let the thread take-up lever rest at its highest point, raise the presser foot and draw the fabric back and to the left about two inches; pass the threads over the thread cutter (A, Fig. 23) and pull down,lightly to sever them. Leave the ends of the threads under the presser foot. Tensions For ordinary stitching, the needle and bobbin threads should be locked in the centre of the thickness of the material, thus: FIG. 24.
