A vertical band appears when recording candlelight or electric light in the dark (DCR-SR42/SR62/SR82). • This occurs when the contrast between the subject and the background is too high. This is not a malfunction. Horizontal stripes appear on the image (DCR-SR200/SR300). • This occurs when recording images under a fluorescent lamp, sodium lamp, or mercury lamp. This is not a malfunction. A vertical white line may appear on an image taken in bright light (DCRSR42/SR62/SR82). • This phenomenon is called the smear effect. This is not a malfunction. NIGHTSHOT PLS] cannot be operated (DCR-SR42/SR62/SR82). • Set the NIGHTSHOT PLUS switch to ON. [SUPER NIGHTSHOT] cannot be operated (DCR-SR200/SR300). • Set the NIGHTSHOT switch to ON.
