Presetting XM Radio Channels You can select the channels you want directly by presetting them using the preset numbers. You can preset up to 30 XM Radio channels. Presetting channels 1 Press FUNCTION repeatedly until "XM" appears in the front panel display. 2 Tune in the channel you want to preset. For details on selecting channels, see "Listening to the XM Radio" (page 67). 3 Press SYSTEM MENU. "MEMORY" appears in the front panel display. 4 Press . 5 Press X/x repeatedly to select the preset number. Preset numbers from 1 to 30 are available, and channel 1 is preset for all the preset numbers when you purchase the unit. Tip • You can select the preset number directly by pressing the number buttons. 6 Press . The channel is stored as the selected preset number. 7 Repeat 2 to 6 to preset another channel. 8 Press SYSTEM MENU. The system menu turns off. To change the preset number Restart from Step 1. You can also select the number by pressing the PRESET + or -. You can select a preset number from 1 to 30. Note • The preset channel information will be updated depending on the service provided by the XM Satellite Radio Inc. that you have subscribed to. • When the XM Radio ID appears in the front panel display ("channel 0" is selected) (page 68), you cannot preset XM Radio channels. The XM Radio ID disappears when other than "channel 0" is selected. 70US

You can select a preset number from 1 to

Note
• The preset channel information will be updated
depending on the service provided by the XM
Satellite Radio Inc. that you have subscribed to.
• When the XM Radio ID appears in the front panel
display (“channel 0” is selected) (page 68), you
cannot preset XM Radio channels. The XM Radio ID
disappears when other than “channel 0” is selected.
