You cannot enter data properly When you tap a button or screen icon, your CLIÉ handheld activates the wrong features B The digitizer is not correctly calibrated. Set the calibration properly in the Digitizer Preferences screen from Preferences. b For details, refer to "Customizing your Sony CLIÉ™ handheld (Preferences): Adjusting the Digitizer" in "Handbook." B Your CLIÉ handheld may not be able to recognize your tapping properly if a liquid crystal protection sheet is attached on the screen. You cannot display the menu when you tap the menu icon B Some applications or screens do not have the menu feature. Try with another application. Your CLIÉ handheld does not recognize your handwriting characters B You need to use Graffiti® writing for your CLIÉ handheld to recognize your handwriting characters. b For details, refer to "Entering data on your Sony CLIÉ™ handheld: Using Graffiti® writing to enter data" in "Handbook." B Make sure to enter the Graffiti strokes in the Graffiti writing area. B Make sure to enter the Graffiti strokes for characters on the left side of the Graffiti writing area and for numbers on the right side of the same area.
