4b: Connecting the video components How to hook up your components This section describes how to hook up your components to this receiver. Before you begin, refer to "Component to be connected" below for the pages which describe how to connect each component. After hooking up all your components, proceed to "5: Connecting the antennas (aerials)" (page 35). Digital Analog High quality image Notes • Before connecting cords, be sure to disconnect the AC power cord. • Be sure to turn on the receiver when the video and audio signals of a playback component are being output to a TV via the receiver. If the power supply of the receiver is not turned on, neither video nor audio is transmitted. Converting video signals This receiver is equipped with a function for upconverting video signals. Notes
