Getting Started Name Function A POWER Press to turn the receiver on or off. ON/STANDBY lamp Lights up in green when the receiver is turned on. Lights up in red when the receiver is set to standby mode. B TONE MODE TONE +/- Adjusts the tonal quality (bass/treble level) of the front, center and surround speakers. Press TONE MODE repeatedly to select bass or treble level, then turn TONE +/- to adjust the level (page 108). C TUNING MODE Press to select the tuning mode (page 115-117). D TUNING +/- Turn to scan a station (page 115-117). E Remote sensor Receives signals from remote commander. F MULTI CHANNEL DECODING lamp Lights up when multi channel audio signals are decoded. G Display window The current status of the selected component or a list of selectable items appears here (page 101). H Digital Cinema Lights up when a sound Sound lamp field with DCSis selected (page 64). I DISPLAY Press repeatedly to select information displayed on the display. K MASTER VOLUME Turn to adjust the volume level of all speakers at the same time. L INPUT SELECTOR Turn to select the input source to play back. M 2CH/A.DIRECT Press to select sound A.F.D. field (page 114, 115). MOVIE MUSIC N DIMMER Press repeatedly to adjust brightness of the display. O MEMORY/ ENTER Press to store a station or enter the selection when selecting the settings. P AUTO CAL MIC Connects to the jack supplied optimizer microphone for the Digital Cinema Auto Calibration function (page 45). Q VIDEO 2 IN/ Connect to a portable PORTABLE AV audio/video component IN jacks such as a camcorder or video game. R SPEAKERS Press to select the (OFF/A/B/A+B) speaker system (page 44).
