Recording a picture (p. 26) 1 Remove the lens cap. VCR OFF(CHG) CAMERA POWER 2 Set the POWER switch to CAMERA while pressing the small green button. MEMORY/ NETWORK 3 Press OPEN to open the LCD panel. The picture appears on the screen. 4 Press START/STOP. POWER VCR OFF(CHG) CAMERA Your camcorder starts recording. To stop recording, press START/STOP again. MEMORY/ NETWORK Viewfinder When the LCD panel is closed, use the viewfinder with your eye against the eyecup. Adjust the viewfinder lens to your eyesight (p. 30). When you purchase your camcorder, the clock setting is set to off. If you want to record the date and time for a picture, set the clock setting before recording (p. 20).
