Identifying the Parts 2 A STANDBY/ON ( ) Press this button to turn the unit on or standby. A O B MENU B In iPod mode, use this button to go back to the P previous menu. This button is equivalent to the C MENU button on your iPod. Q D During MP3/WMA playback, use this button to E R display MP3/WMA information. F S C ENTER G T This button is equivalent to the Center button on your iPod. H U V In iPod mode, use this button to confirm selection in menus. I D Scroll (° / ‡) In iPod mode, use these buttons to scroll up and down the menu. J W K E PLAY (y) In CD or iPod mode, use this button to start playback. L X Y F SEARCH (m/,) In CD or iPod mode, hold down these buttons to M Z search for a part of a track. N a G PRESET (b/5) In TUNER mode, use these buttons to select a preset station. H MEMORY In TUNER mode, use this button to preset stations. I SOURCE (AUX 1, AUX 2, AUX 3, CD, TUNER, TAPE, iPod) Use these buttons to select a source. Note: To simplify explanations, instructions in this manual refer to the names of the buttons and controls on the front panel only. Associated controls on the remote control will also operate similarly. J DIMMER Use this button to dim the display. K VOLUME Use these buttons to adjust the volume. < Following buttons don't work on the CR-H227i.
