In this example, length is measured from the center of the circle to the upper left vertex of the polygon. Finding the circumference of a circle or the perimeter of a polygon, rectangle or triangle 1. From the Measurement menu, select the Length tool. 2. Click the object to measure its circumference or perimeter. 3. Press · to anchor the measured value on the work area. Measured circumference and perimeter Measuring one side of a triangle, rectangle, or polygon: 1. From the Measurement menu, select the Length tool. 2. Point to the side that you want to measure. Initially, the perimeter of the object displays, along with a visual reminder that you can use e to measure the side instead. 3.
