PREPARATION CONNECTIONS Speaker impedance setting CAUTION If you are using 6 ohm speakers, set the impedance to 6 ohms as follows before turning on the power. Be sure this unit is in the standby mode. 1 On the front panel, while pressing down SPEAKERS A, press STANDBY/ON. "SP IMP.SET" appears on the front panel display for a few seconds, then "Minimum 8ohms" appears. CONNECTIONS
PREPARATION
If you are using 6 ohm speakers, set the impedance to 6
ohms as follows before turning on the power.
Be sure this unit is in the standby mode.

On the front panel, while pressing down
SPEAKERS A, press STANDBY/ON.
“SP IMP.SET” appears on the front panel display for
a few seconds, then “Minimum 8ohms” appears.

Press SPEAKERS A or SPEAKERS B to
select the impedance of your speakers.
You can select either 6 ohms or 8 ohms.

Press STANDBY/ON to exit the setting.
This unit will be set to the standby mode.

You can also use SP IMP.SET (see page 57) to set the speaker
impedance.
When all connections are complete, turn on the power of
this unit.
