Setting the menu options VOICE menu options DIVIDE: Divides a file. You can use the Divide function to get rid of unnecessary parts and keep only those you desire. To divide a file, you must first locate the desired position (time) by playing back the file up to that position. NO: Returns to menu setting mode. YES: Divides the file at the current stop position. Note: · Once a file is divided, it cannot be joined together again. · Short files or files in the M (music) folder cannot be divided. · A few seconds at the division point of each of the divided parts will overlap. · If a file that includes index marks is divided, all index marks will be deleted. REC MODE: Selects the recording mode (page 9). MIC ALC: Enables the microphone's Auto Level Control function (page 12). MIC SENS.: Selects the microphone's sensitivity (effective only for microphone recording when the MIC ALC function is turned on) (page 13). VAS: Enables VAS recording (effective only for microphone recording when the MIC ALC function is turned on) (page 15). STEREO WIDE: Selects Stereo wide (effective only for microphone recording). OFF: Stereo wide off ON: Stereo wide on Note: · This function does not work while "recording mode" is set to "LP". VOICE menu options
DIVIDE: Divides a file.
