Connections Connecting a Yamaha iPod universal dock Make sure that this unit and other components are unplugged from the AC wall outlets. This unit is equipped with the DOCK terminal on the rear panel that allows you to connect a Yamaha iPod universal dock (YDS-10, sold separately) where you can station your iPod and control playback of your iPod using the supplied remote control. Connect a Yamaha iPod universal dock (YDS-10, sold separately) to the DOCK terminal on the rear panel of this unit using its dedicated cable. Once the connection is complete, station your iPod in the Yamaha iPod universal dock. Using the VIDEO AUX jacks on the front panel Use the VIDEO AUX jacks on the front panel to connect a game console or a video camera to this unit. Caution Be sure to turn down the volume of this unit and other components before making connections. Notes • To reproduce the source signals input at these jacks, select "V-AUX" as the input source. • When audio signals are input at the AUDIO jacks, PORTABLE jack and the DOCK terminal on the rear panel, the priority order of the input signal is as follows: 1. Connections
This unit is equipped with the DOCK terminal on the rear
panel that allows you to connect a Yamaha iPod universal
dock (YDS-10, sold separately) where you can station
your iPod and control playback of your iPod using the
supplied remote control. Connect a Yamaha iPod universal
dock (YDS-10, sold separately) to the DOCK terminal on
the rear panel of this unit using its dedicated cable. Once
the connection is complete, station your iPod in the
Yamaha iPod universal dock.
Use the VIDEO AUX jacks on the front panel to connect a
game console or a video camera to this unit.
To reproduce the source signals input at these jacks, select
“V-AUX” as the input source.
When audio signals are input at the AUDIO jacks, PORTABLE
jack and the DOCK terminal on the rear panel, the priority order
of the input signal is as follows:
1. DOCK
2. PORTABLE
3. AUDIO
