ANTENNA CONNECTIONS Each antenna should be correctly connected to the designated terminals, referring to the following diagram. Both AM and FM indoor antennas are included with this unit. In general, these antennas will probably provide sufficient signal strength. Nevertheless, a properly installed outdoor antenna will give clearer reception than an indoor one. If you experience poor reception quality, an outdoor antenna may result in improvement. Outdoor FM antenna * You may be unable to obtain good FM radio reception depending on your local conditions (distance from the broadcast station, interposing buildings and mountains, etc.). Consult your dealer or authorized service center and be sure to install an antenna that suits your local conditions. Install the special FM outdoor antenna in a high place as far away from any roads as possible to avoid being affected by automobile ignition noise. Indoor FM antenna (included) * Firmly insert the connector into the FM ANT terminal.
