Therefore, when recording or dubbing video signals, if your video source unit is connected to provide only an S video (or only a composite video) signal, you can record only an S video (or only a composite video) signal on your VCR. • A source that is connected to this unit only through the digital terminals cannot be recorded on a tape deck, MD recorder or VCR connected to this unit. • A source of signals input to the EXTERNAL DECODER INPUT terminals of this unit cannot be recorded. • Please check the copyright laws in your country to record from records, compact discs, radio, etc. Recording of copyright material may infringe copyright laws. If you watch video software that uses scrambled or encoded signals to prevent it from being dubbed, there may be a case that the picture itself will be affected by those signals. 27
