Removing the High-Mount Brakelamp Bulb Liftgate models To remove the brakelamp and bulb: 1. 2. 3. 4. Remove the two screws from the surface of the lens. After removing the screws, remove the lamp assembly. Disconnect the high-mount brakelamp wiring connector. Remove the screw retaining the bulb holder assembly, pull the bulb holder assembly away from the lamp, and pull the bulb straight out of the holder. To replace/install the brakelamp: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Push bulb(s) into bulb holder assembly. Place bulb holder assembly on lamp and install retaining screw. Tighten screw. Connect the high-mount brakelamp wiring connector. Position the lamp assembly on the vehicle. Install and tighten the two screws. Apply brakes to confirm the brakelamp is functional after installing. 326
