To remove the child from the built-in child seat: 1. Squeeze the tabs on the top and bottom of the chest clip and pull the halves apart to open the chest clip. Refer to Figure 8. Press the release button on the crotch safety belt buckle. Slide the shoulder belts off the child's shoulders and remove the child. Refer to Figure 6. 2. 3. To stow the built-in child seat: 1. Return the child seat cushion to the upright position and lift the protector flap toward the headrest. Fasten the snaps securely. Pull on the headrest release strap and rotate the headrest downward until it latches against the child seat cushion. RWARNING Always fasten the protector flap snaps when stowing your child seats to prevent the child seat cushion from rotating forward in a collision. The seat can now be used by an adult. 2. 3. 56
