7. Place the child on the child seat and position the shoulder belts over each shoulder. Refer to Figure 6. Figure 6: Shoulder safety belt placement on the child 8. Insert either the left or right safety belt tongue into the single opening of the crotch belt buckle as shown in Figure 7. (It does not matter which tongue is inserted first.) Then insert the other tongue. RWARNING If both tongues do not latch in the buckle, do not use the child seat. See your dealer for repairs. Figure 7: Fastening the crotch safety belt buckle 53
