Maintenance 5. Turn the bulb holder counterclockwise and remove it. 6. Install the new bulb in reverse order. Replacing Tail, Brake and Turn Signal Bulbs E162555 E162553 1. 1. Remove the screws from the splash shield at the wheel well to gain access to the lamp assembly. Make sure the headlamp control is in the off position. 2. Open the liftgate. 3. Remove the trim panel cover. E142799 E162556 2. Remove the bulb holder from the lamp assembly by turning it counterclockwise. 3. Disconnect the electrical connector. 4. Remove the bulb from the bulb holder by pulling it straight out. Install the new bulbs in reverse order from the steps above. 4. Disconnect the electrical connector 5. Remove the wing nut. 6.
