WARNING
Mixing two types and brands of fluid for use
in the brake lowers the brake fluid boiling
point and could reduce brake effectiveness.
Change the fluid in the brake system com-
pletely if the fluid level is low but the type and
brand of the fluid already in the reservoir are
unknown.
Apply the brake forcefully for a few seconds and
check for fluid leakage around the fittings.
WARNING
Air in brake line can make the brake feel
mushy or soft.
This may cause reduced
braking performance or brake failure and
result in an accident.
If brake lever travel
is excessive or the brake feels mushy, have
an authorized Kawasaki dealer inspect it
immediately.
Fluid Change
Have the brake fluid changed by an authorized
Kawasaki dealer.
