Indicators Your computer provides an array of three indicators located above the keyboard, in addition to four indicators positioned at the front of the palm rest area. These indicators show the status of the computer and its componetns. ## IItteemm DDeessccrriippttiioonn ""LLaauunncchh kkeeyyss"" oonn ppaaggee 1100 The three indicators located above the keyboard provide the following status information: # Item Icon # Item Description Item Description Caps Lock activity Description Lights when Caps Lock is activated. ## IIccoonn IItteemm "Launch keyDs"esocnripptaiogne 10 Num Lock activiy Lights when Num Lock is activated. "Launch keys" on page 10 Media activity Lights when the hard disk or optical drive is active. Bluetooth Indicates the status of Bluetooth communication. # Icon Item Wireless LAN DescriptionIndicates the status of wireless LAN communication. # Icon Item Description Power Lights up when the computer is on. (Lights amber when in stand-by or sleep mode) Battery Lights up when the battery is being charged. 16
