2.3 System memory 2.3.1 Overview The motherboard comes with six (6) Double Data Rate 3 (DDR3) Dual Inline Memory Modules (DIMM) sockets. The figure illustrates the location of the DDR3 DIMM sockets: 2.3.2 Memory Configurations You may install 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB Registerd, or 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB Unbuffered with ECC/Non-ECC DDR3 DIMMs into the DIMM sockets using the memory configurations in this section.
