WiseImage- User's Guide 1 Introduction Welcome to WiseImage WiseImage is a professional hybrid graphics editor and raster to vector converter that works inside AutoCAD 2000/2000i/2002/2004/2005/2006 and AutoCAD LT 2002//2004/2005/2006. Within this manual we also refer to AutoCAD implying AutoCAD 2000/2000i/2002/2004/2005/2006 and AutoCAD LT 2002/2004/2005/2006. The program is intended to process scanned drawings, maps, schemes, drafts and similar graphic materials in the AutoCAD environment. This version of WiseImage has been significantly enhanced and offers advanced state-of-the-art technology for processing color, grayscale and monochrome raster images. This allows the incorporation of scanned images in CAD, GIS, electronic document circulation and in many other technical engineering areas. The rich set of features in WiseImage, namely advanced raster hybrid editing, interactive and automatic vectorization, text and symbol recognition, with vector editing provided by the AutoCAD system, creates a complete environment for scanned technical documentation processing.
