Unpicking seams Method 1: Cut the loops formed by the looper threads with sharp scissors or the BERNINA seam ripper. Pull slightly on the threads and the seam will come undone (see 4, 5). Method 2: Loosen the loops formed by the needle threads with a pin or your BERNINA seam ripper.
