6 CALL LIST This feature is available if you have subscribed to the Caller Line Identification service with your telephone service provider. Your phone can store up to 30 answered or unanswered calls with date/time information in the call list. The number will be shown on the display when the phone is ringing. If the number matches with one of the entries in your private phonebook, the caller's name stored in the private phonebook will be displayed with the number. If you've got new Caller Display records, the handset will display "X New Call(s)" in standby mode. The New Calls indication will remain until all the new calls record details have been viewed on that handset. Missed calls are marked with an "*" when viewed in the calls list. Once the details of the missed call have been viewed, the "*" will be removed. If the caller number is withheld(e.g. ex-directory or by dialling 141), "Private" will display. If the caller number is unavailable(e.g. international or from a private exchange), " Unavailable" will display. 6.1 View the Call List All unanswered and answered calls are saved in the call list with the latest call at the top of the list. When the call list is full, the oldest call will be replaced by a new call. An unanswered call which has not been read is marked with an "*" at the begining of the call entry. 1. Press to access the call list. 2. Press < UP/DOWN> to scroll through the call list, and press [ Select ] to view details of a call list entry. Note: You can also access the call list via Menu - Call list. 6.2 Store a Call List Number into the Phonebook 1. Follow steps 1 and 2 in Section 6.1. 2. Press [ Menu ] and to scroll to Add to PB. 3. Press [ Select ] and then enter the name, press [ OK ] , edit the number if necessary and press [ OK ] . You must enter something in the Name and Number fields in order to save it in the phonebook. 4. Press to select the melody. 5. Press [Select ] to save the entry in the phonebook. 17
