Niche dimensions Cavity depth A cavity depth of 223/64'' (56 cm) is recommended for the appliance. If the cavity depth is smaller - at least 2121/32'' (55 cm) - the energy consumption increases slightly. Niche width An inside niche width of at least 223/64'' (56 cm) is required for the appliance. Any deviations from this requirement may cause problems when installing the appliance. Side by side installation It is only possible to install appliances side by side with a gap of at least 5.9" (15 cm). Saving energy If you follow the instructions below, your appliance will use less power. Note: The arrangement of the fittings does not affect the energy consumption of the appliance. Installing the appliance Keep the appliance out of direct sunlight. Install the appliance as far away as possible from heating elements, cooker and other heat sources: 11/4" (3 cm) to electric or gas cookers 1113/16" (30 cm) to oil or solid fuel cookers Select an installation location with a room temperature of approx. 68°F (20°C). The appliance needs to cool less frequently at low ambient temperatures and therefore consumes less power. Use a cavity depth of 223/64'' (56 cm). 9 CAUTION The air on the back panel of the appliance does not warm up as intensely. The appliance consumes less power if the warm air can escape. Risk of burns! Individual parts of the appliance become hot during operation. Touching these parts may result in burns. Do not cover or block the ventilation openings. Ventilate the room daily. 7
