The air in the appliance does not warm up as intensely. The appliance needs to cool less frequently and therefore consumes less power. Let warm food and drinks cool down before placing them in the appliance. Place food to be defrosted in the cooling compartment in order to utilize the low temperature of the frozen food. Always leave a space between the food and to the back panel. Pack food airtight. The air can circulate and the humidity will remain constant. The appliance needs to cool less frequently and therefore consumes less power. Do not cover or block the ventilation openings. The air on the back panel of the appliance does not warm up as intensely. The appliance consumes less power if the warm air can escape. Close the freezer compartment door carefully. You can connect the appliance to mains-
controlled and sine-controlled inverters.

systems which are connected directly to the national
grid. Sine-controlled inverters must be used for
isolated applications. Isolated applications, e.g. on
ships or in mountain lodges, are not directly
connected to the national grid.
