Directory Dialing Directory dialing allows you to look up the other party's name you registered and retrieve the number for dialing. This feature is convenient when you know the other party's name but cannot recall the one-touch speed dialing key, the code for coded speed dialing, or group dialing where the number is registered. 1 Press [Directory]. appears if there are no numbers registered, and the display returns to dial entry mode. 4 2 Press a numeric key to enter the first letter of the name of the party you are searching for. Sending Faxes For example, if you want to search for a name that starts with the letter "H", press 4 (GHI) twice. Entries starting with the letter you entered are displayed. If there is no entry that starts with the letter you entered, entries that start with the next letter will be displayed. 3 Press [ (-)] or [ (+)] to display the other names. Pressing [ (+)] displays the names of other parties in alphabetical order. Pressing [ (-)] displays them in reverse order. When you reach the last name, the display returns to the first name. Directory Dialing
Directory dialing allows you to look up the other party’s name you registered and
retrieve the number for dialing. This feature is convenient when you know the other
party’s name but cannot recall the one-touch speed dialing key, the code for coded
speed dialing, or group dialing where the number is registered.

Press [Directory].
<NOT REGISTERED> appears if there are no numbers registered, and the display
returns to dial entry mode.

Press a numeric key to enter the first letter of the name of the
party you are searching for.
For example, if you want to search for a name that starts with the letter "H", press 4
(GHI) twice.
Entries starting with the letter you entered are displayed.
If there is no entry that starts with the letter you entered, entries that start with the next
letter will be displayed.

Press [
(-)] or [
(+)] to display the other names.
Pressing [
(+)] displays the names of other parties in alphabetical order.
Pressing [

When you reach the last name, the display returns to the first name.
