88 Trouble? Message Explanation/Solution IN CARD POSITION You pressed START/STOP while recording still images ( - mode). NAMING ERROR The folder and file numbers have reached their maximum value. 63 Set the [FILE NOS.] option to [RESET] and erase all the images on 64 the memory card or initialize it. UNIDENTIFIABLE IMAGE The image file is corrupted or it was saved using a compression - method other than that compatible with this camcorder (JPEG). TRANSFER ORDER You attempted to set more than 998 transfer orders. 77 ERROR PRINT ORDER ERROR You attempted to set more than 998 still images in the print order. 81 CANNOT TRANSFER! You attempted to transfer a still image that cannot be displayed with - this camcorder. TOO MANY STILL IMAGES Disconnect the USB cable and decrease the number of still images - DISCONNECT USB CABLE on the memory card to less than 1800. If a dialog appeared on the computer screen, close it and then restore the connection. COPYRIGHT PROTECTED You attempted to play back a copyright protected tape. 72 PLAYBACK IS RESTRICTED COPYRIGHT PROTECTED You attempted to dub a copyright protected tape. May also appear 72 DUBBING RESTRICTED when an anomalous signal is received during analog line-in recording. Message PAPER ERROR NO PAPER PAPER JAM INK ERROR NO INK LOW INK LEVEL INK ABSORBER FULL • FILE ERROR • CANNOT PRINT! Explanation/Solution There is a problem with the paper. The paper is not correctly loaded or the paper size is wrong. Alternatively, if the paper output tray is closed, open it to print. Paper is not correctly inserted or there is no paper. The paper jammed during printing. Select [STOP] to cancel printing. After removing the paper, set some paper again and retry printing. There is a problem with the ink. The ink cartridge is not inserted or is out of ink. The ink cartridge needs to be replaced soon. Select [CONTINUE] to restart printing. Select [CONTINUE] to resume printing. Contact a Canon Service Center (refer to the list included with the printer) to replace the ink absorber. You attempted to print an image that was recorded with another camcorder, with a different compression, or was edited on a computer.
