„ Loading Envelopes in the Cassette 1 Prepare the envelopes. See "Prepare the envelopes." on page 20. 2 Load the envelopes. (A) (1) Align the envelope stack against the right side of the Cassette. Load with the address side facing DOWN. The flap of the envelope will appear facing UP on the left side. Up to 5 envelopes can be loaded at once. (2) Slide the Paper Guides against the sides of the envelope. (1) (2) (A) Make sure the flaps are folded. (3) Press the Paper Feed Switch so that the (3) Cassette lamp lights up. (B) (B) Printing orientation 3 Specify the settings in the printer driver. (1) Select Envelope in Media Type. (2) Select the size for envelopes. In Windows, select DL Env. or Comm. Env. #10 in Page Size. In Macintosh, select DL Envelope or #10 Envelope in Paper Size. (3) Select Landscape in Orientation. Important Be sure to set the printer driver setting properly. If you do not, the address may be printed in the wrong direction. Before Using the Machine
Loading Envelopes in the Cassette

Prepare the envelopes.
See “Prepare the envelopes.” on page 20.

Load the envelopes.
(1)
Align the envelope stack against the right side
of the Cassette.
Load with the address side facing DOWN. The
flap of the envelope will appear facing UP on
the left side.
Up to 5 envelopes can be loaded at once.
(2)
Slide the Paper Guides against the sides of the
envelope.
(3)
Press the
Paper Feed Switch
so that the
Cassette
lamp lights up.

Specify the settings in the printer driver.

Select the size for envelopes.

Important
