Movies Shooting Various Movies Shooting Movies in [E] Mode Movies 1 Enter [E] mode. zzSet the mode dial to [E]. zzBlack bars are displayed on the top and bottom edges of the screen, and the subject is slightly enlarged. The black bars indicate image areas not recorded. 2 Configure the settings to suit the movie (=211 - 226). 3 Shoot. zzPress the movie button. zzTo stop movie recording, press the movie button again. Movies Locking or Changing Image Brightness before Shooting Before shooting, you can lock the exposure or change it in 1/3-stop increments within a range of -3 to +3. 1 Lock the exposure. zzAfter releasing the shutter button, press the button to lock the exposure. The exposure shift bar is displayed. zzTo unlock the exposure, press the button again. 2 Adjust the exposure. zzTurn the dial to adjust the exposure, as you watch the screen. 3 Shoot (=75).
