Resetting the File Numbers

Š When the camera is held on end to shoot, the Intelligent Orientation sensor judges the upper end to be "up" and the lower end to be "down". It then regulates the optimal white balance and exposure for vertical photography. This function operates regardless of the On/Off status of the Auto Rotate function. Š When changing the camera's orientation between the horizontal and vertical positions, you may hear noise coming from the orientation detection mechanism. This is not a malfunction. Resetting the File Numbers You can select the way file numbers are assigned. The file numbers are reset to the start (100-0001) each On time a new CF card is inserted. New images recorded on CF cards with existing files are assigned the next available number. Camera Settings

It then regulates the optimal white balance and
exposure for vertical photography. This

When changing the camera’s orientation

Resetting the File Numbers
You can select the way file numbers are
assigned.
