Outline Setting Up Sending an e-mail 03 Sending an E-mail This section explains how to scan a document and send the scanned image via e-mail. About Buttons Set the document. Press the Sending Function key repeatedly to select the color mode ( or ). Press the one-touch key you registered. Press [Start]. When you place the documents on the platen glass, press or to select the document size, then press [Start] for each document. When scanning is complete, press [OK] to start sending. Confirm that the scanned image is sent to the destination e-mail address. Open your e-mail software to check if the e-mail was delivered. * The appearance of the operation panel may differ depending on the model you use. If e-mail was delivered successfully: Go to Home. Close the Guide. If e-mail was not delivered: Go to the Remote UI section. Use the Remote UI to make sure that the settings are correct.
