Click [Network] in the [Device] menu. Click [Change]. Click [OK]. Make any necessary corrections. Turn OFF the machine's main power switch, wait at least 10 seconds, then turn it ON. E-mail settings Scroll down until you see the [E-mail/IFax Settings] field, and make sure that: - The correct SMTP server name is specified. Also, if your SMTP server uses SMTP authentication, make sure that: - [SMTP Authentication (SMTP AUTH)] is set to [On]. - The user name is specified. - The password is set. After the machine is restarted: Try to send an e-mail. Try to store documents. If you still have trouble: Go to Troubleshooting.

E-mail settings
Scroll down until you see the [E-mail/I-
Fax Settings] field, and make sure that:
– The correct SMTP server name is
specified.
Also, if your SMTP server uses SMTP
authentication, make sure that:
– [SMTP Authentication (SMTP AUTH)] is
set to [On].
– The user name is specified.
– The password is set.
Click [Network] in the [Device] menu.
Click [Change].
Click [OK].
