MANAGING YOUR FILES Files and Folders Your camera treats each snapshot, movie, and Voice Recording, as a separate file. You can delete, protect, and copy files as required. Files are grouped in folders that are created automatically by the camera. Files and folders have their own unique names, which are assigned automatically by the camera. • For details about how folders are organized in memory, see "Memory Folder Structure" (page 251). Name and Maximum Number Allowed File Each folder can contain up to 9999 files named CIMG0001 through CIMG9999. The extension on the file name depends on the file type. • If a folder already contains 9999 files, recording another file will cause a new folder to be created automatically. Folders Folders are named from 100CASIO to 999CASIO • There can be up to 900 folders. Example 26th file name: CIMG0026.JPG Serial number Extension (4 digits) 100th folder name: 100CASIO Serial number (3 digits) NOTE • You can view folder and file names on your computer.
