GETTING READY I Low Battery Indicator The following shows how the battery capacity indicator on the monitor screen changes as battery power is used. The indicator means that remaining battery power is low. Note that you will not be able to record images while the battery indicator is . Charge the battery immediately whenever either of these indicators appears. Keep these safety precautions and all operating instructions on hand for future reference. NOTES • The term "battery" in this manual refers to the CASIO NP-40 Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery. • Use only the USB cradle (CA-24) that comes with the camera or the optionally available rapid charger unit (BC-30L) to charge the special NP-40 rechargeable lithium ion battery. Never use any other charging device. 33
