19 C H A P T E R Configuring Standard-Compliant IEEE MST This chapter describes how to configure the standard-compliant IEEE Multiple Spanning Tree (MST) protocol on Cisco 7600 series routers. Note • The IEEE MST protocol has transitioned from a prestandard state to a released state. This chapter describes the standard-compliant MST implementation supported in Release 12.2(18)SXF and later releases.
