Chapter 42 Configuring PFC3BXL or PFC3B Mode MPLS QoS Configuring PFC3BXL or PFC3B Mode MPLS QoS Configuring EXP Value Maps These sections describe how EXP values are mapped to other values: • Configuring an Ingress-EXP to Internal-DSCP Map, page 42-31 • Configuring a Named Egress-DSCP to Egress-EXP Map, page 42-31 Configuring an Ingress-EXP to Internal-DSCP Map To configure an ingress-EXP to internal-DSCP map, perform this task: Command Step 1 Router(config)# mls qos map exp-dscp values Router(config)# no mls qos map exp-dscp Step 2 Router(config)# end Step 3 Router# show mls qos maps Purpose Configures the ingress-EXP value to internal-DSCP map. You must enter eight DSCP values corresponding to the EXP values. Valid values are 0 through 63. Reverts to the default map. Exits configuration mode. Verifies the configuration. This example shows how to configure an ingress-EXP to internal-DSCP map: Router(config)# mls qos map exp-dscp 43 43 43 43 43 43 43 43 Router(config)# This example shows how to verify the configuration: Router(config)# show mls qos map exp-dscp Exp-dscp map: exp: 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 dscp: 43 43 43 43 43 43 43 43 Configuring a Named Egress-DSCP to Egress-EXP Map To configure a named egress-DSCP to egress-EXP map, perform this task: Step 1 Command Router(config)# mls qos map dscp-exp dscp_values to exp_values Router(config)# no mls qos map dscp-exp Step 2 Router(config)# end Step 3 Router# show mls qos maps Purpose Configures a named egress-DSCP to egress-EXP map. You can enter up to eight DSCP values at one time to a single EXP value. Valid values are 0 through 7. Reverts to the default map. Exits configuration mode. Verifies the configuration.
