52 C H A P T E R Configuring Local SPAN, RSPAN, and ERSPAN This chapter describes how to configure local Switched Port Analyzer (SPAN), remote SPAN (RSPAN), and Encapsulated RSPAN (ERSPAN) on the Cisco 7600 series routers. With a PFC3, Release 12.2(18)SXE and later releases support ERSPAN (see the "ERSPAN Guidelines and Restrictions" section on page 52-12).
