Chapter 5 Parameters and Defaults SIP Parameters SIPPort Description This parameter is used to configure the port through which the Cisco ATA listens for incoming SIP requests and sends outgoing SIP requests. Value Type Integer Range 1 to 65535 Default 5060 Voice Configuration Menu Access Code 201 MediaPort Description Use this parameter to specify the base port where the Cisco ATA transmits and receives RTP media. This parameter must be an even number. Each connection uses the next available even-numbered port for RTP. Outgoing SIP responses are not affected by this out-bound-proxy and are still sent according to the VIA header and source address of the incoming SIP requests.
