Chapter SFE1000P Gigabit Ethernet Switch Administration Guide 12 Modifying SNMP Users The Edit SNMP User Page provides information for assigning SNMP access control privileges to SNMP groups. The Edit SNMP User Page contains the following fields. 1. Click System > SNMP > Security > Users to open the Edit SNMP User Page 2. Define the relevant fields. 3. Click Apply. The SNMP User is modified, and the device is updated. Define SNMP Groups The SNMP Groups Profile Page provides information for creating SNMP groups and assigning SNMP access control privileges to SNMP groups. Groups allow network managers to assign access rights to specific device features, or features aspects. 1. Click System > SNMP > Security > Groups.
