show l2protocol-tunnel Chapter 2 Catalyst 3560 Switch Cisco IOS Commands show l2protocol-tunnel Use the show l2protocol-tunnel user EXEC command to display information about Layer 2 protocol tunnel ports. Displays information for interfaces with protocol tunneling enabled. show l2protocol-tunnel [interface interface-id] [summary] [ | {begin | exclude | include} expression] Syntax Description interface interface-id summary | begin | exclude | include expression (Optional) Specify the interface for which protocol tunneling information appears. Valid interfaces are physical ports and port channels; the port channel range is 1 to 48. (Optional) Display only Layer 2 protocol summary information. (Optional) Display begins with the line that matches the expression. (Optional) Display excludes lines that match the expression. (Optional) Display includes lines that match the specified expression. Expression in the output to use as a reference point. Usage Guidelines After enabling Layer 2 protocol tunneling on an access or IEEE 802.1Q tunnel port by using the l2protocol-tunnel interface configuration command, you can configure some or all of these parameters: • Protocol type to be tunneled • Shutdown threshold • Drop threshold If you enter the show l2protocol-tunnel [interface interface-id] command, only information about the active ports on which all the parameters are configured appears. If you enter the show l2protocol-tunnel summary command, only information about the active ports on which some or all of the parameters are configured appears. Expressions are case sensitive. For example, if you enter | exclude output, the lines that contain output do not appear, but the lines that contain Output appear. 2-450 Catalyst 3560 Switch Command Reference 78-16405-05
