Chapter 2 Catalyst 3560 Switch Cisco IOS Commands show vlan show vlan Use the show vlan user EXEC command to display the parameters for all configured VLANs or one VLAN (if the VLAN ID or name is specified) on the switch. show vlan [brief | dot1q tag native | id vlan-id | internal usage | mtu | name vlan-name | private-vlan [type] | remote-span | summary] [ | {begin | exclude | include} expression] Syntax Description brief dot1q tag native id vlan-id internal usage mtu name vlan-name private-vlan type remote-span summary | begin | exclude | include expression (Optional) Display one line for each VLAN with the VLAN name, status, and its ports. (Optional) Display the IEEE 802.1Q native VLAN tagging status. (Optional) Display information about a single VLAN identified by VLAN ID number. For vlan-id, the range is 1 to 4094. (Optional) Display a list of VLANs being used internally by the switch. These VLANs are always from the extended range (VLAN IDs 1006 to 4094), and you cannot create VLANs with these IDS by using the vlan global configuration command until you remove them from internal use. (Optional) Display a list of VLANs and the minimum and maximum transmission unit (MTU) sizes configured on ports in the VLAN. (Optional) Display information about a single VLAN identified by VLAN name. The VLAN name is an ASCII string from 1 to 32 characters. (Optional) Display information about configured private VLANs, including primary and secondary VLAN IDs, type (community, isolated, or primary) and ports belonging to the private VLAN. This keyword is only supported if your switch is running the IP services image, formerly known as the enhanced multilayer image (EMI). (Optional) Display only private VLAN ID and type. (Optional) Display information about Remote SPAN (RSPAN) VLANs. (Optional) Display VLAN summary information. (Optional) Display begins with the line that matches the expression. (Optional) Display excludes lines that match the expression. (Optional) Display includes lines that match the specified expression. Expression in the output to use as a reference point.
