Appendix A Online Diagnostic Tests PFC Layer 3 Forwarding Engine Tests TestIPv6FibShortcut The TestIPv6FibShortcut test verifies that the IPV6 FIB forwarding of the Layer 3 forwarding engine is working properly. One diagnostic IPV6 FIB and adjacency entry is installed and a diagnostic IPv6 packet is sent to make sure the diagnostic packet is forwarded according to rewritten MAC and VLAN information.
