Replacementparts mustbe the sameand installedin the same positionas theoriginal parts. o If fuel spills,wait until it evaporatesbeforestartingengine. 1. Beforereplacingthe fuelfilter,drain the fueltank or closethe fuel shut-offvalve.Otherwise,fuel can leakout and causea fire or explosion. . Use pliersto squeezetabs on the clamps,then slidethe clamps awayfrom thefuel filter.Twistand pull thefuel linesoff of the fuel filter.See Figure9. f Donot use pressurizedair or solventsto cleanthe air cleaner cartridge. .
