Section 3 - Configuration Storage This page allows you to access files from a USB external hard drive or thumb drive that is plugged into the router from your local network or from the Internet using a web browser or an app for your smartphone or tablet, like the mydlink Shareport™ app. For more information, refer to "Sharing Files Using the mydlink SharePort™ App" on page 113. Windows File Select either Require router's admin password or Allow Sharing: all users to access (no password). Enable SharePort Check the box to enable file sharing on your USB storage Web Access: device that is plugged in your router. HTTP Access Port: Enter a port (8181 is default). You will have to enter this port in the URL when connecting to the shared files. For example: (http://192.168.0.1:8181). HTTPS Access Enter a port (4433 is default). You will have to enter this port Port: in the URL when connecting to the shared files. For example: (https://192.168.0.1:4433). Allow Remote Check this box to allow remote access to this router. Access: User Name: To create a new user, enter a User Name. Password: Enter a Password for this user account. Re-enter the Password to verify. Click Add/Edit to create the user. User List: Displays the user accounts. The Admin and Guest accounts are built-in to the router. Number of Displays information for the USB device plugged into the Devices: router. This page allows you to access files from a USB external hard drive or thumb drive that is plugged into the router from your
local network or from the Internet using a web browser or an app for your smartphone or tablet, like the mydlink Shareport™

Select either
Require router’s admin password
or
Allow
all users to access (no password).
Check the box to enable file sharing on your USB storage
device that is plugged in your router.
Enter a port (8181 is default). You will have to enter this port
in the URL when connecting to the shared files. For example:

Enter a port (4433 is default). You will have to enter this port
in the URL when connecting to the shared files. For example:

).
Check this box to allow remote access to this router.
To create a new user, enter a
User Name
.
Enter a
Password
for this user account. Re-enter the
Password
to verify. Click
Add/Edit
to create the user.
