Section 3 - Configuration Network (MAC) Filters Use MAC (Media Access Control) Filters to control access to LAN (Local Area Network) computers by using their MAC addresses. You can create a list of MAC addresses and then choose to either deny them access or allow them access to your network. Configure MAC Select Turn MAC Filtering OFF, Turn MAC Filtering ON and Filtering: ALLOW computers listed to access the network, or Turn MAC Filtering ON and DENY computers listed to access the network from the drop-down menu. Turn MAC Filtering OFF

ALLOW computers listed to access the network

from the drop-down menu.
Enter the
MAC Address
of the computer you would like to
filter, or select a
Computer Name
from the drop-down menu
and click

. Use the check box on the left to either enable or
disable the entry.
Note:
To find the MAC address on a computer, please refer to the
Networking Basics
section in this manual.
Computers that have obtained an IP address from the router’s
DHCP server will be in the
DHCP Client List
.
The schedule may be set to
Always
, which will allow this
service to always be enabled. If you created a pre-defined
schedule, you can select it from the drop-down menu, or click
on
New Schedule
to add one.
Click
Save Settings
