Prerequisites 1 Remove the base cover. 2 Remove the wireless card. 3 Remove the solid-state drive. 4 Remove the memory modules. 5 Remove the rear-I/O cover. 6 Remove the computer base. 7 Remove the coin-cell battery. 8 Remove the battery. 9 Remove the heat-sink assembly. 10 Remove the system board. Procedure 1 Remove the screw (M2x3) that secures the speaker to the palm-rest assembly. 2 Lift the left speaker off the palm-rest assembly. 3 Peel off the tape that secures the speaker cable to the palm-rest assembly. 4 Remove the speaker cable from the routing guides on the palm-rest assembly. 57

Lift the left speaker off the palm-rest assembly.

Remove the speaker cable from the routing guides on the palm-rest assembly.
