Follow the instructions in Before You Begin. 2. Remove the battery. See Removing the Battery. 3. Remove the two screws that secure the hinge cover to the computer base. 4. Turn the computer over. 5. Follow the instructions in

Remove the battery. See

3.
Remove the two screws that secure the hinge cover to the computer base.
4.
Turn the computer over.
5.
Pry the hinge cover off the computer base.
