CAUTION: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such as a connector on your computer). CAUTION: To help prevent damage to the system board, remove the main battery (see Removing the Battery) before working inside the computer. Removing the Camera 1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin. 2. Remove the display assembly (see Removing the Display Assembly). 3. Remove the display bezel (see Removing the Display Bezel). 4. Remove the two screws that secure the WLAN antenna to the display cover. 5. Disconnect the camera cable from the connector on the camera module. 6. Lift the WLAN antenna off the display panel. 1 screws (2) 3 WLAN antenna 2 camera module 4 camera cable connector 7. Lift the camera module off the display cover.

Removing the Camera
1.
Follow the instructions in
Before You Begin
.
2.
Remove the display assembly (see
Removing the Display Assembly
).
3.
Remove the display bezel (see
Removing the Display Bezel
).
4.
Remove the two screws that secure the WLAN antenna to the display cover.
5.
Disconnect the camera cable from the connector on the camera module.
6.
Lift the WLAN antenna off the display panel.
7.
Lift the camera module off the display cover.
