Installing the Modem Connector 1. Place the modem connector in its compartment. 2. Place the modem-connector bracket on the connector. 3. Tighten the screw to secure the modem-connector bracket. 4. Route the modem connector cable. 5. Connect the modem-card cable to the modem card. 6. Install: a) system board b) ExpressCard cage c) media board (available in E6430/E6430 ATG only) d) palmrest e) display assembly f) keyboard g) keyboard trim h) bluetooth card i) hard drive j) base cover k) battery 7. Installing the Modem Connector
1.
Place the modem connector in its compartment.
2.
Place the modem-connector bracket on the connector.
3.
Tighten the screw to secure the modem-connector bracket.
4.
Route the modem connector cable.
5.
Connect the modem-card cable to the modem card.
6.
Install:

c)

keyboard trim
